This is the  blog for Victoria Johnson, a research fellow within the Norwegian Research Fellowship for the Arts Programme at the Norwegian State Academy of Music (NMH) 2007-2010.
The name of the project is Electric violin in digital space, exploring how to develop a new digital space where the electric violin meets electronics, video and light.

The research focuses on development of new repertoire and improvisations, and extension of the sound palette for electric violin. I am experimenting with different concert forms, spaces and venues. I also do research on different software and controllers.

I get great support from my main supervisor prof. Ivar Frounberg (NMH) and  my co-supervisor Trond Lossius.
